Co-Founder Jessica Kooiman Parker founded and continues to curate the visual arts program for the Alluvion in the Commongrounds Cooperative in Traverse City, MI.

Commongrounds is Northern Michigan’s first real estate cooperative, an innovative, mixed-use community center with workforce housing, common areas, and mission-driven organizations serving the community through food, family, arts, and wellness.

The visual arts program provides a welcoming and immersive space for creative expression, nurturing a thriving hub of diverse voices and expansive ideas. Through exhibitions, installations, education and events, the program explores untold stories, rewards curiosity, and encourages connection.
